A dreamer?

 Several time ago a friend told me that in it implied that I'm a only a dreamer and always try something that will end in vain. I gasped for a moment and want to change it immediately. But after spending a night sleeping, in the morning, my brain and my heart work together to say 

"You may say I'm  dreamer but I'm not the only one" (John Lennon)

Many stories tell us that sucsessfull people strating from their dreams and always doing a "trial and eror". I decide to continue my dreams and not to not eliminate the habit of trying something even if it ends in vain. A dreamer better than the people who have no dreams at all, isn't it? (I dedicated for a friend who can't be mentioned.. ^.^)

Arsitektur yang Lain

"Arsitektur yang lain" by Avianti Armand, recommended by my friend Ica. ting! ;D This book is a collection of essays that contains architectural criticism and several stories. Very informative and sometimes I laugh when reading it and sometimes I say "ooo, hmmm". I really liked a chapter entitled Arsitek Indonesia=Arsitek Dunia. Here's told that in fact Indonesia has accomplished architect and recognized internationally but less well known in Indonesia, which is their own country. Moreover, there's a lots of little things that is very crucial that had never occurred to me. love this book!

Paper Eyeglasses

All you need : cardboard or old calendars, scissors, markers, cutter, watercolors, paintbrush

How to make:
Make a glasses pattern in back of old calendars and cut it according to the pattern.

Then colour it by using watercolors and paint brushes. You can paint in accordance with your desire and your creativity.

After the paint dried, put a thin streaks between handle and frame so that it can be folded easily. Happy recycling!

Sew Sew Sew!

Feel has not sew anymore. Accidentally I saw a friend made something cute from flannelette so I take my flannelette and sewing, sewing, sewing! ^^ It's take a lot of time but  I'm very enjoyed. I can make something cute (nerd. hohoho). I call them "moster Attack" and "@ Backyard." but still have no idea to name them one by one. zzz zzz  '_' find more at Button Box

Strawberry Swing-Coldplay

Animator Group? yup! They are called Shynola and not a boyband or something like that. Animator, motion graphic artist and video maker from England. Consists of Chris Harding, Richard Kenworthy and Jason Groves. At first they were consist of four personnell but one of them, Gideon Baws, passed away due to illness. One of those works that amaze me is the video clip from Coldplay-Strawberry Swing. In this video I found something about harmonization between drawing and imagination. It's awsome!

Old & New Friends

I meet my old friends from Osaka University. They are Yuko Yozizumi, Mariko Kousaka and Kiyoshi Yamauchi. They come with  Prof. Takeshi Suzuki and still be mentored by him for their research. Now they come with two new people, Kaoru Fujii and Aoi Yamamoto. so I got two new friends :D

I asked for help by my lecturer Mr. mufti a few months ago. He asked me to be a translator again for them. I'm very enjoy and very impresse. from them I learned how to do things seriously. I really wish I could meet them again in another time. maybe in Makassar or maybe in Japan! I hope so!

Organic Waste in Takakura Home Method ( Keranjang Takakura )

Takakura is a way of processing organic waste from Koji Takakura research results who come from Japan. Research carried in Surabaya, which is a cooperation with Kitakyushu city in Japan aims to find ways how to process local waste.

All we need 
A basket which have small holes for air circulation, 2 bricks, chaff, stocking, old box, compost, organic waste, the rest of the cooked rice/fish/chicken/egg shells etc.The rest of the vegetables (the rest of the vegetables is not stale. But when it becomes stale, wash the vegetables in advance, squeeze, and discard the water, similarly for vegetables which containing coconut milk. Waste from the fruit (avoid pushing a hard rind like a leather bow)

Bira beach

Bira beach, Bulukumba, South Sulawesi.. have a beautiful coral reefs that no less beautiful with other reef tours. to get there, we spent 6 hours from Makassar. I can't swim and diving but just snorkling! yay! this is the first time.. boat rental costs around Rp120rb includes 8 goggles and buoys. boat owners will take us into areas that many coral reefs. in the first time, I feel so scary to snorkeling, but after dared to try it.. wow! It,s amazing. really beautiful God's creation. there I can see Mr. blue Patrick star. wew!I really want to go back again.

Kajang, The Black Tribe

 Kajang, Bulukumba, South Sulawesi. I took a course of ethnic architecture that has a final task in the last week. The task was enter into the vernacular architecture studies at the Kajang tribe's house. Their house is made from natural ingredients around. If they had built a house, they must plant trees to replace trees that have been used. That's a good idea..^^v.. Kajang tribes led by chiefs who called with Amma Toa. Society must wear black clothes in their daily life. as well as guests who visit.
